Luxury cocktail board on arrival day
Want to open the fridge after a long day of travelling and start your holiday straight away? Order a luxury cocktail board and enjoy your first evening with your friends / family / colleagues / children.
The board includes delicious French cheeses, assorted breads, charcuterie, pâté, a French dry sausage, cornichons, local tapenade and jam, olives, seasonal salad, fruit, a quiche or cold soup, a delicious bottle of wine (1 for 2p) and a sweet for dessert!
Cocktail board €20 pp, minimum 8 people.
Breakfast on the doorstep
A delicious, freshly prepared breakfast delivered to your door – who wouldn’t want that?
Breakfast consists of a selection of meats and cheeses, a hard-boiled egg, fresh orange juice, homemade jam, butter, honey, a French baguette of course, but also brown bread and crackers, madeleines and a croissant.
There is also yoghurt with granola or cereals, fresh seasonal fruit and cucumber and tomato for the sweet tooth!
Breakfast €18 pp, minimum 8 people.
Culinary pampering in your holiday home
Chef at home
Would you like to enjoy a delicious dinner at home in your holiday home? Now you can! Choose Chef à Domicile and have a professional chef prepare the most delicious dishes for you on site. Prices start from €88 per person. As we work with several chefs, there is always an available chef, even if your preferred chef is already booked. No problem, the other chef will be happy to take over! (minimum 6p)
Roger and Micky as your chef/host
We, Roger and Micky, can also provide a fantastic culinary experience. After years of cooking for large groups (usually between 12 and 18 people) they can provide a delicious dinner in your holiday home. Please note that due to their busy schedules this cannot always be guaranteed during your stay.
You can enjoy a delicious 5-course meal for €60 per person., minimum 8 people. The matching wine package is €25 per person. (5 surprising wines). A guaranteed feast for your taste buds!
Massage or a rugby lesson
Narbozen offers relaxing massages. You can book them online and enjoy a massage in the house or even outside, by the pool. Just email or call and the masseur will come to you!
If you want something really special, book our daughter for a rugby clinic😊. Coco is an international professional rugby player and she can, permitting her schedule, give an active rugby lesson. You are actively involved and learn the basics of the sport. A truly special experience!
Painting class
Want to capture beautiful landscapes, old bridges and rivers in beautiful light on canvas?
Would you like to spend a day (or more) painting outdoors in peace and quiet in special places? Under Lisette’s professional guidance, you will learn to see and paint the landscape in an original way. (on canvas with oil paint). Both beginners and experienced painters are welcome from 16 years old (minimum of 4 people). Also people with no experience of painting can participate.
A painting day runs from 09.30 to 17.00 and costs €120 per person including all painting materials, coffee/tea and a picnic lunch. The course takes place in Assignan and is led by Lisette Meijrink, who has been painting for 35 years and is a qualified teacher. Lisette has a boutique gallery in Assignan.
Patisserie workshop : Enjoy life, eat cake...
Bake a cake like a professional, a first introduction to classic French patisserie?
The workshop focuses on active learning by doing. You can choose to make a frangipane cake, biscuits or macarons, or you can suggest a theme!
The workshops take place in the kitchen of Els, a qualified pastry chef. The minimum number of participants is 3 and the maximum 6. The cost is €65 per person and the workshops last 3 hours on average. You will be welcomed with coffee/tea and, of course, biscuits!
You can take home: all the recipes and the freshly baked treats.
Wine tasting
Of course you can taste wine in many places in our beautiful region, but top of the list for us is our favourite winery, Chateau Luc of the Fabre family in Luc sur Orbieu.
A beautiful family winery with a huge, fine selection of Aude wines.
At the chateau you are welcomed by the Fabre family or one of their excellent staff who speak English as well as French, which is very handy.
Besides all sorts of extra activities regularly organised in and around the chateau, you can also book a vineyard walk or lock yourself in the Escape Room (all about wine, of course).
For our guests, the tour of the historic castle, the underground cellar and the delicious wine tasting, which normally costs €12 per person, are free. All your questions will be answered with pleasure.
Of course, the family will be delighted if you bring back at least a few bottles to taste at home or in your holiday home!
As our guest, you will receive your entrance ticket on arrival!
Bicycle hire
You can of course bring your own bicycles, but you can also rent them in a nearby village. We will be happy to advise you of the options.
